Our Story
Keiki Pilot Project was founded in 2025 by our President, Matiana Dominguez. Matiana is a licensed teacher working at a Title 1 school in the State of Hawai’i while pursuing flight ratings along her way to the major airlines. As a child from a family that often struggled financially, she had never imagined herself flying airplanes. But now, her passion lies in both aviation and supporting the next generation to soar beyond their means.
At Keiki Pilot Project, we all envision a future where each child is encouraged to reach for the stars and pursue their aspirations, regardless of their financial background and challenges they face.
Flying our keiki to experience the island from a fresh perspective is just one way we aim to provide unique opportunities for growth and exploration. As our organization grows, our capacity to reach more of our Hawaii youth and the methods in which we can serve them will be increased. This is just the beginning…
